Went there for my honeymoon. The reef fish were staggering but we did one trip out beyond edge that plumetted further than you can see and it was shark central.

Was dating an air stewardess 👩✈️ back in 2005, they were doing the drop off pick up rin leaving crews in Bangkok, Abu Dhabi and Phuket, back then the TUI flight to Phuket landed in UAE, flies direct from Stockholm now.
She worked for TUI (Thomson), we were flying back on an empty plane apart from to crew, we flew back through the northern lights, and it was amazing..I joined the fly club as well that night, and was allowed to sit in the cockpit.
A better night I’m yet to have.

I'd like to do a drift dive in the Maldives; one of those channels between the islands that the pelagic fish go to when they are hungry.
I'd like to do a tour of India and its cricket grounds during the IPL, and eat curries every day.
A tour of Asia, sampling spicy food with a foodie.

I went to see the northern lights in Iceland, didn't see shit, loads to do in Iceland though and it's a wicked place so all wasn't lost

I could pretty much guarantee that if I went somewhere to see the northern lights, it would be cloudy. Same whenever there is something astronomically interesting happening.
